In the 1990's Alaska Airlines tried prioritizing production over safety
It became Alaska Airlines lowest point of Organizational performance. Individual employees pushed back and were doing everything they could to keep people safe including heroic acts as seen in the above video. In the end these individuals who each correctly prioritized Safety over Production could not individually outperform the low performance of the Organziation.
